Hello all!

My name is Tex and I live in Las Vegas NV, about 20 minutes from Hoover "Dam" :) (I couldn't resist). I have wanted a Chevelle for the past 16 years or so and finally had the opportunity to grab one. It is a '71 Chevelle Malibu, needs some TLC but the way I look at it, that's to be expected for a car that's almost 40. The following pics are first of the reason I finally got my toy, the rest are the toy.

Looking forward to learning from ya'll, it's already been very informative.

Enjoy the pics!

Sweet '71. My first car was a '71 Chevelle Malibu. 307/AT with power steering manual brakes. Ran the crap out of that car. Had to junk her back in '84 with 150K on the clock. At the time the body had rusted off the car and I had no means (i.e. $$$) to save her :( Miss her to the day

Welcome to the site Tex.
Sharp 71 Chevelle. Love the classic look with the Cragers.

Thanks everybody. Missus and the little one were fine. A little shaken up though.
The bridge is open. Makes the trip south a helluva lot faster. I just hope my plans don't outstretch my wallet :)
