Hello guys and gals,
I am brand new to the site. I'm 39, married with a beautiful daughter I love classic cars. I've had plenty of them but this one was my dream. I wanted a SS but couldn't find one I could afford. I'm more than happy with this one. Hopefully one day mine will look like some of these I see on here.

Looks like a super solid car to start with. Too bad you don't live closer... I have a ton of things you could use to make it more like an SS.

Jay ,are you related to Jethro ? Just kidding .I saw the pics you posted and just have to ask what you think is wrong with how your Malibu looks ,I like it ,I want to see more pics ,it looks very solid .Ours would have been easy to make into a cloned SS since it already had the bucket seats and floor shift ,all we would have had to do was add the SS dash ,stripes and emblems as we already had the domed hood .We just liked it being a Malibu .

As a kid, All my uncles had Super Sports with 454's. Always been a dream of mine. My dad was into Camaro's. I like those too but there was something about those stripes going over the outer door of the cowl while it was open I just had to have. Just a personal preference.

Well I like them all whether true SS ,malibu or clone .I like them stock ,modified or however their handlers make them ,that is what keeps it all interesting .If we liked exactly the same thing it would get very boring .Keep us posted on your plans and progress .

Nice looking car, looks good as a Malibu if you ask me. Of course you have to make it what you want.

Yeah, that's still a hike from where I am. Roughly 6.5 hour drive and 350+ miles.

I have a mint GM domed hood, 12 bolt 3.08 posi rear, SS dashes, etc.

It may be worth the trip if you ask me. Those dashes are pretty expensive from what I see. I'm pricing hoods as we speak.
