69 Chevelle SS Disc Brake?

What color were the front disc brake backing plates (dust covers) from the factory on a 69 SS? I am going to paint mine and wanted to paint the correct color.

I'm not sure they were painted from the factory. They may have had that gold/bronze look like a new Power Brake booster. I painted my '69's with Eastwood Brake Gray brake fluid resistant paint.

And I painted the spindles with Eastwood's cast iron gray
