space saver tires work on these cars?

hello. I have a 69 Malibu, currently has 15X8 rallys. question, is there a way to use space saver tires on these cars ? I know they wernt offered back then, but it be nice if we could as they much lighter and take up less space in trunk.

They worked on the 69 Camaro, so I don't see why they wouldn't work on your Malibu.

I personally dont use a spare tire.
My battery and nos bottle are in my trunk.
I do have a tire plug kit along with a cell phone and AAA card.
Any GM pasenger car space saver should work as long as its the correct bolt patern.
Also need lug nuts for steel rim and that tube thing to blow it up with.
