That was a very insensitive joke. I got ripped a new one for saying what a short life he lived. Hopefully a mod will see this post and have it deleted.

It's a tought call; I can see the humor but then again I can see a jab at short people. I guess it depends on your point of view...

To me, Gary Coleman seemed to never grow up because of his size, he was always that little kid on Different Strokes. I am sure that I am not the only one who felt that way.

People have been made fun of for years because of their height/size. Remember when that song "Short people" got banned. Because some people felt that it was prejudice against short people.

My daughter is just shy of 5' tall, my wife is not much over 5'. I'm only 5'8". It may seem insensitive but have you ever ever watched the Simpson's, Family Guy, South Park, etc. This world is so up tight about being PC all the time. It doesn't hurt to have a laugh every now and then. I'm not prejudice, I'll make jokes about anyone, including myself.

I enjoyed watching him in Different Strokes when I was little. Remember "The Gooch"?????:D:D
