Some Updates

Haven't been on the website in quite some time. Since I finally got my car on the road in 2015 I have done a few more things to it. I ended up putting a GPS speedometer in it after the second speedometer cable ripped the stem of the speedometer off where the cable screws onto. I also put a new Autogear M22W in the car after the old 4 speed started leaking real bad. The PO had stripped 3 out of the 4 screws holding the front bearing retainer on and besides it leaking at the counter shaft hole it was really leaking at the retainer. I did a few other small items here and there but nothing really big. Added some 396 emblems to the Cowl Hood. Some new pics

Thanks, don't feel bad I get that way too especially if something pops up out of the blue when driving it. I really don't drive the car as much as I should and I think part of that was because every time I took it out something else needed attention. I'm pretty confident about the car now and hope next year I drive it more. Bowtie smiley

Your car looks very nice.
Glad you have gotten most of the bugs out and its getting reliable.
How do you like the new speedo?
I went with the electric programable on mine.

I like it. The only thing it has to search for the signal every time you start the car which is no big deal. It is very accurate and has 9 different features you can scan thru. The one thing that is nice is one of the features is a clock which my car didn't have.

Your car is looking really nice. Need to tell Ric about the GPS speedo, mostly cause he needs a clock.

Thanks, in the first picture of the dash if you blow the picture up you can see the clock is displayed in red. That is where everything appears as you scan through the features. I keep mine on the clock feature.

Thanks, took awhile and a lot of work to get it where I wanted it to be but I'm satisfied with the outcome.
