looks great man

That's an awful pretty looking frame. I don't think mine looked that good when it left the factory. Nice work.

May not be bent, sometimes with not all the weight on the front end things do not line up. My frontend looked funny until I finally added all the weight to compress the springs down. Do not torque the arm bolts untill you get all the weight on the frame.

Thanks Shaun and Hank.

Ray, I thought the same thing when I first started trying to get it lined up but the bushings that bolt to the frame won't line up at all. If I put the rear bolt in the front is "toed out" so far I can pull em around to get the other bolt in. After I thought bout it for a few minutes I remembered the other frame had been hit in the front in on the drivers side. So I figured it was bent. Only way to be able to tell if it was would be to measure a good one from end link to end link and compare wouldn't it?

I haven't tightened anything yet. All the control arm bolts are still loose.

If the other frame had got hit then you may be correct about it being bent. Wish I had a stock on to measure for you. Hard to measure on the car.

Found my old stock one, I get around 46 1/4 center of hole to center of hole off my 70.

Well thanks for looking at that. I'll check it out when I get home from work and see what it measures at.

Quad, try this.

Thanks Ken, I measured my frame it's pretty much in line with all those dimensions. I'll need to keep those dimensions handy to see how bad off my other frame is once I get the body swapped over.

Ray, I measured my sway bar and it was exactly what you measured, so I don't know whats going on with it.

I got the exhaust all mocked and fitted now I'm just waiting on the correct rear control arm braces to show up before I weld everything in place. I ended up using the rotella oil and primed everything and it had just under 60 psi. Hopefully by the end of next weekend I can get this thing fired up then I can get the body swapped over and get back to work on finishing the quarters and drivers side rocker.

Here's a pic of the exhaust. So far those ball and socket flanges are sweet! They seem to fit tight and would compensate if there was a little misalignment.

Nice. I cutoff the flat mounting flanges on my longtubes also.
