Hi everybody.. I am an old Chevy guy who just started working on my grand-
daughters 1965 Chevelle. I would like a little help and guidance. I would like to know if anyone has installed a "605" power steering box from a late 70s Malibu
in to one of these cars?? If so what is involved? It looks like they are pretty
close without actually moving the old non poser 1965 box. Anybody have any
suggestions??

Welcome to the forum mm. Not sure what the 605 box is. What do you mean without moving the old gear box? A lot of people have used the gearbox out of Grand Cherokee. It has a better turn ratio, the hose fittings are different but otherwise it's the same Saginaw gear box. They also make a power steering gear with improved ratio that is a direct swap.
