Corked Headers Are Worthless On Sreet Engines

You're much better off running the OEM iron manifolds on any street engine that requires a street legal exhaust system. Headers are only beneficial in track racing events where they can be run open (like they were intended to be run).

Yes stainless headers wear well.

Bob Gliddens pro stock engine is a street legal engine here. Headers are street legal as well.

I think it would literally scare you to see some of the cars driving on the road here. A supercharged big block with 1800 HP should have factory exhaust? And there are meaner cars than that all over the place.

Is this one of those we can't do it legally here where I live. So you shouldn't be able to have fun either arguments?

Do you support Dex-Cool also?

Stainless won't rust though a PITA to keep clean and shiny.

I installed stainless steel headers on our motor home. They look pretty nasty after a few thousand miles but they're not there for looks. The Chevelle has ceramic coated headers.
