Thinking about 18's
1 Attachment(s)
I sort of like the torq thrust M rims. Was thinking about 18's all the way around. Would like to stuff as much tire out back as possible. What widths do you think ?

'72, correct? Are the rear lips rolled or trimmed? Rear suspension stock?
With careful measurements, you can fit a 11" wide rim with a 315 if your suspension is tight enough to not have any lateral axle movement, and the lips are rolled. 10" with a 295 is a little easier to accomplish. |
Rear suspension is
Hotchkis 1 inch lowering coils Bilstein shocks UMI lower arms UMI adjustable uppers arms UMI control arm braces UMI 1 inch solid sway bar Front is stock a arms new ball joints rebuilt front end kit Bilsteins Hitchkis 1 inch lower springs Considering a sway bar up front and a new quick ratio steering box. The lips of the fenders are not rolled. What would you suggest ? Thanks Dave |
Would 18X10 for the back and 18X8 work up front ? If so how much rubber can be fitted to them ? Thanks

What back spacing would I need to run 18X10's in out back ?
|
5.5" would center a 10" rim with a rolled lip...
A lot of guys run 11" rims with 6 to 6.25" backspace, so you could gain some room by running around 6" if you don't want to roll the lips. |
Did you get them? Any pictures?
