What cylinder heads are on your car? 3919840's? Or 3964291's? I say the 840 castings are more correct for 67'-68' cars, and the 291's are more correct for a 69'.

TIA

840's on my heads and at least two other COPO 69 Chevelle motors - one an original owner car.

That is beautiful! There is one just like your being restored at a shop up here in Allen, Tx. I pass by it every day. It always make me want to go home and pull mine out of the garage!

Would be a treat to hook up with other Chevelle owners in North TX - I live in the Lewisville area.

Thanks Roger, looks like I stand corrected. Now my next question... is it true that the 840's had small exhaust valves? (1.725" vs. 1.88's)

Roger,
We are always looking to do the same. My wife and I have several friends with classics and we try to get them out of the garage and go somewhere often. I think we will be out at the waters crossing car show in Allen next Sunday (oct 21st) it starts at 1pm and there is more information on hotrodhappenings.com.
If we ever meet up, promise me you will not park right next to mine! Your car will make mine look bad!!
