I have a '70 SS 396 and I am having difficulty with all of the wiring in the engine bay. Mainly across the firewall.... CAn anyone forward a easy to read diagram????

The wiring diagram helps but it won't tell you how the harness lays out. Ray, myself and others have put them in so we can give you additional help if needed.

I'm right into wiring up my 66 Malibu with a new wiring harness, and because of the amount of wires in it and not taking enough pictures I'm a little confused on where to route all the wires across the engine bay i.e. heater box, coil wire, starter and therefore. Any chance you still have a diagram handy?

I only have one for a 70 Chevelle not sure it will help on a 66. Don't know what Ray has available. As mentioned, the wiring diagram shows the connections. It does not show the physical layout so won't help much on how to route the wires. I can send the one I have if you're still interested. PM me with an email address I can send it to.

I did a quick search on the net a found images in color you could print or for $10 could buy a 66 wiring diagram book. I don't have any pictures on how the wiring is routed in the car. Do you have a assembly manual?
