When you say the line is off. Do you mean the rear line is off and the front is on and bled?

it was manual and converted over when I got it,.
The rod was on the upper hole and I moved it to lower,
have free about an eighth inch before master cyl, play at pedal.
when we tried to bleed the rear nothing came out,
so then we tried at the proportioning valve still nothing.
took line off at master and tried to get fluid out.
Just a rock hard pedal, figured had a bad master.
got another and bench bleed it rear was bleeding on bench,
on car rock hard no fluid out, thinking that the booster is the broblem.
even used different length rods at master still nothing.
What am I missing, thanks for your time.

Is that the same master cyl that was being used for your drum brakes before the conversion? If so, that's your problem right there. You need the right master for disc/drum setup. Discs require more pressure than drums.

I just did a conversion on my 70 last month and my old master looked exactly like your pic. This is what I'm using now and everything works awesome.

Looks like a Vette style master, Ken

It all came in the kit from "Right Stuff Detailing Company". Sucker really stops great now.

Problem Solved.... 3rd master cylinder from Right Stuff detailing and still didn't bleed... $25.00 M/C from AutoZone, and problem solved... Bled right out.
