Shipping odd/oversized items?
Trying to get a rear seat to PA from FL. Any ideas?

Know any truckers. My buddy used to be one. Ask them to ask around. If someone is making a run and they got some room they will do it reasonable. Under the table of course.

Greyhound takes odd size stuff.

Is there a Fastenall store near you ,they will ship from one store to another for a reasonable price .

We have shipped a lot of larger packages like speakers and audio equiptment. The suggestions listed above are great if it is something that you have access to. If not, it will depend on how fast you want to get it there. Since it is an oversized item both FedEx and UPS will hit you hard with cost. I would suggest using ground service, it may be slower but it is cheaper. Package the item yourself, many places charge way too much to box it for you. You can probably find a box at a bicycle shop that you could cut to fit. If you do use a shipping company, make sure that you insure it. It would probably be cheaper to ship via ground, may take a few days longer but would save some cash in the long run.

Fastenal finally got back to me. They wanted me to crate it, then it would be $100 shipping on top of the crate. Guess it's time to try greyhound next.
