Tell you the truth I wish I went with the M22Z too. The PO put a cam in the car that has a operating range of 3500 to 6500 RPM's. I would have put something in with a operating range of about 2000 to 5500 RPM's. I only have my shift light set for 5,000 RPM's and with the 2:20 low of the close ratio that was in the car before it took forever to reach the 5,000 RPM's. With the 2:56 low it hits a lot faster and if it had the 2:98 first gear it would even be better. I think with a 2:98 first gear it would have felt like I had 4:88's in the rear. All and all I'm still satisfied with the M22W. I'm a lot older now and don't do has much of the spirited driving as I did in my younger days if you know what I mean.
