Picked up a real TH400 CX tranny in late December (thanks to Bob Harris, Camaro Specialties) . . .


Weather forecast for last Friday (Jan 20th) was too good to pass up so I took a VC day.
By 8:30AM, Chevelle up on blocks in my drive, me on my back pulling the mild mannered TH400 installed in 2010 . . .
By mid afternoon, the fresh OH'd TH400 CX was in and buttoned up with fresh fluid going in.

Took a spin late afternoon through digital radar traps nearby, odometer was dead on . . .
Throttle response Oh yeah, just like 40+ years ago . . .

Local policeman as I passed by . . .
