I put 380 miles on the '66 Sedan the first day I bought it.
Met the Seller at the Newburgh, NY airport...jumped in and drove it to Buffalo, NY.

Then from there trailered it over to Cleveland, OH for the NOCC show and on home in GA.
Those miles were with the car on a Uhaul dolly with the driveshaft in place so the miles did continue to record.
Does that count??

Haven't put even one tenth of a mile on it in the 6+ years it has been in the family. I keep telling myself, "Maybe next year..."

I look at it this way, it's still in the family. That is the most important thing, there is still the possibility of miles. If you sold it, then it would only be a memory.

I will be burried in the car, my father gave it to me - he felt his end was near. Miraculously, he got a heart transplant three weeks later. Without that miracle, he would have been dead within 5-6 weeks of giving me the car. There is a very strong emotional attachment to that car. No matter how bad off I am, I will never sell it.

Smile miles this year

I put close to 1,000 since June going to the car shows in my 454 SS and about 5 tanks of gas! She's all covered up in the garage now until next spring. Thought about taking her out today as it's 64 degrees here right now and going up to 68 tomorrow. I love global warming!

I just went and put 120 miles on mine today driving to Bay City and then on the way home put some Sta-bil in it. Now it is all clean and on the lift and covered for the winter.
