Default the best of both worlds (Well for me anyway ) :)

well i was thinking about my chevelle and thinking about my uncles camaro and after doing a lot of research for a member on here mr 314Chevelle. so i was looking around and everyone might know how much i love the LSx motor. But i want to learn the carb setup as well. so i figured hey why not do the best of both worlds? after doing some research i found that edelbrock makes an Intake manifold that works on the LS1 and can use a carb on it. and MSD is a programmable computer that adjust the timing exactly how you want it. So now i think i am going to shift gears and go that way so that way i can use my t56 without any issues and adapters and so on. Has anyone on here seen this setup before? take a look at a few videos i found

ls1 wiring then using a full system but still enough for me to pull out my laptop and log into it to see whats wrong
what do you guys think ?
