heater box install?
so as i was getting all the stuff together for the Christmas Decor i was in my attic and i found my heater! i didnt know i even had this...lol So no my question to you guys is is it easy to install? where does it go on the car? I know it bolts on somewhere by the firewall but i am not sure where exactly. I am asking because my firewall has a bunch of sheet metal riveted in and i dont want to remove something if i cant fill it in. some advice and pictures would be great

It is a challenge to put in with everything on the car. Installed mine before I had my inner fender wells in since some of the bolts are behind that.
This is what my non AC car looked like, You will notice om 70 the fan motor sits above the inner fender well and it only accessible with the inner fender out. I believe 69 is different then 70.

This is a 69 AC firewall car. And yes your heater box is for a AC car, but not your firewall. Do you have the firewall side equipment?
At this point you might want to go with a vintage air system.

Looks like you should be able to do some mods on the fire wall and make it work. Might be able to find a wrecked 69 with ac and cut that section out to weld in. Make sure you have everthing you need, some of the AC parts for the 69 are one year only.

yeah i am going non ac i really dont need it if its to hot to drive the chevelle i will put the top down on the rx7...lol but heat is key. if i am going to have my family in the car i want them to be warm. if it was just me i would be fine with no heat
