Default What's this?

I am in the middle of replacing my old beat up SS dash with a new one. All is going well but I don't know where this wire goes. I believe it is a ground and but check me on that. It's attached to the gauge cluster and there is one on the passenger side to if I remember correctly. Any help would be appreciated
Dan

Headlight switch. Between the dash and the switch.

You guys nailed it. I just went out and removed the cluster and the head light switch. The wire connection fits between the headlight switch and the cluster. I guess it was not attached for many years. Because, the headlight switch came out with the cluster. I hope that this lack of a ground is why when I turned on my headlights in the past, the cluster went wacko. Turn indicators would come and go and the fuel gauge would go to zero and it would all go back to normal when you turned the headlights off.
Thanks again..that was a big help
