Question Dash removal

Have to remove the dash to get to the cowl panel that's rusted out, but was just wondering what the best way to tackle that is? I've never done anything that extensive. I want to take it out anyway to dye it and start the process on getting my interior to black. Thanks in advance for all the help/advice.

Here's a link on dash removal that I used as a guide line when I did mine.
