All leaks fixed yesterday. Huge relief! Now just to work down the check list and tie up loose ends. I'll take more pictures when there's something to see.

This truck already has a big aluminium radiator and dual fans. I expect it to run nice and cool.

Not much new to report. The fly by wire set up is on the fritz. It was working, stopped responding. Reading up on trouble shooting methods because I have never dealt with this before. Also, the transmission only has reverse. The builder believes that the grease he uses to hold the ball bearings in during assembly has dried up.

We've been busy with my car and the Lemans lately. Once I get the gas pedal and throttle body to communicate with one another, the rest should fall into place.

Long overdue update...

Found a huge vacuum leak, reset the computer - throttle fixed. Next was the fans not working, with help of a good friend/wiring guru - we were able to determine something in the harness wasn't right. We did some wiring of our own and got the fans functioning properly.

Now the transmission, the original rebuilder has fallen ill and was unable to help resolve the issues. Today I went with my father to Monster Transmissions in Brooksville, FL. We picked up a 4L65E good to 550 HP. And dropped off the "core" out of his truck. Very professional operation and friendly staff. Now... to find the time to get over there and install it.

We have a different set of wheels on order as well. Just not happy with having to use spacers. The new wheels are having to be built, so it will be 4-6 weeks. Wheel Vintiques is the vendor.

Transmission is in and has forward gears, huge victory. I found yet another vacuum leak today and fixed it. Wrapping up the A/C lines and charging the system soon, then the seat can go in. Still no wheels yet...
