Buying my first Chevelle/Malibu
1964 Malibu SS (true SS) Going to take a look at this car Monday. Supposed to be a med/high end restoration(frame off). Period/date correct 327. Almost new everything. By no means a resto mod, but also not 100% original either. For the sake of argument lets say the work is top notch 9/10, running gear/suspension is addressed and body undercarriage solid(no rust), what would be a good number to reach for this car?
I've checked just about all comps on the major sites(classiccars.com, autraderClassics, Hemmings, etc. and this cars asking price is on the high side. Last edited by xk49; 08-20-2021 at 05:20 PM. |

Nice looking car. I’m guessing $40-45k.

I was thinking 50k if the undercarriage is super clean. The seller is asking 59k, which I think is pretty high for this model/year.
