Default POA valve restoration? Compressor rebuild/restoraion?

I am wanting to have mine redone before I go through the trouble of charging the A/C system. I also would like to have my A/C compressor rebuilt/refurbished.

Does anyone know of a good, reliable vendor for these services with a solid track record?

Funny you should mention that... I was discussing this topic with my father, and he suggested just that. I searched via BING and found Classic Auto Air. My father used them for several builds over the years. It was a mixed ah ha/duh moment for me.

I have read nothing but good reviews about them ,just could not remember the name ,old age ,brain fart ,dumbass ,call it what you may but you found them. A friend of mine took his chevelle from Nashville and had them install a complete air system in his and he loves it.

Classic Auto Air in Tampa no longer does complete installs...the guy that did that retired last year.
BUT...they still rebuild and offer replacement parts for most automotive AC units.
If you send your original POA valve to them, be sure and tell them what freon you plan on using. They also offer custom sized condenser coils for increased AC performance.
Excellent service!!
