Default Anyone have a car in the Autorama?

So the Detroit Autorama is coming up on February 26-27-28. Does anyone have a car registered to show, or is anyone going. If you are going what day will ya be there, maybe some of us could meet up and put a face to a name. Just a thought....what do you think?

I'll probably be there with my son and Ray Barnes. We usually go Saturday morning. I'll talk to him tomorrow and see if he plans on going this year. Last year was pretty bad. Water leaking from the roof and a pretty small showing of cars compared to previous years.

I don't know anyone that has a car entered in the show, but my friends and I are planning to attend. We've been going to this show for almost 20 years. We always go on Saturday and generally spend the whole day there. If I don't have to work, I'll be there.

I got a kick out of reading the "Crusin' News". I read that "The Fonz" will be there. Now don't get me wrong, I like Henry Winkler, but things must be bad for him if he is doing the weekend here.

Looks like I won't be going. My mother had a knee replaced a few months ago. She didn't deal with anesthetics and pain killers too well. She has been in rehab/nursing since then. She should be going back to my sister's house, Miami area, in a few weeks. We volunteered to come down for a few weeks and help out when she comes home.

My sister and brother in-law both work full time. Lynda doesn't work and I work from home. I can do that in 'sunny' FL as well as here.

Sorry you won't be able to make it to the show Hank. I hope your Mom gets well soon. Do us a favor and bring some of this cold weather down with you.

Take a look at the national weather maps Brian, the cold weather is already down there.

Ya, I would hate to go all the way to Miami and still be cold.
