Default new to this forum and looking forward to being here

Hi, My name is Gregg Miller, and I live in Verona, Wi. I have been a Chevelle enthusiast since 1964, and got my first one in 1970. It was a 1968 Malibu 2 door hardtop with 327/4speed and I was hooked. Actually, I was really hooked when my dad bought a 1968 Malibu 2 door hardtop new in 1968. It was a 307/powerglide car, but I really liked the bodystyle. Sold the first one in 1973, and regretted it, but in 1990, for my 40th birthday, my wife and I found a real 1968 SS convertible with a 4speed, and drove to Rhode Island to see it. We did purchase it, and drove it home! Did a complete restoration that we finished it in 1994. Of course, they are never done, unless you put them in a museum, and we drive this car everywhere, including 17 Hot Rod Power Tours, 7 of them Long Hauls. We have added a rebuilt 396 with EFI, TKO 600 transmission, Vintage Air, TMI seats, and Power top. There are always things to do to make our cars better, so it's still not 'done', but it's getting close.
Looking forward to getting to know as many of the folks here, and meeting as many as possible on the road!

nice. I had a 68 Malibu in college, my dad bought it new in 68, same as yours, 327 auto power glide, ash gold with black vynal top. but he didn't use his head back then and got it with no a/c. so, I eventually sold it to get a 73 Malibu that did have air. they rusted bad back then. but you have a nice 68!
