ok its been a while but i got some goodies last weekend. my short block is all together and going to get painted tomorrow it looks great so far but here are the goodies!

Seal kit all my seals and gaskets

clutch

GM performance Flywheel

Comp cam lifters and push rods and summit double roller timing chain

Taking over my Dining room table

So i said the wife is away the baby is away let me get some work done! i finished sanding the floor cleaned it and while it was drying i cleaned and degreased the motor! here are the pics

Floor was sanded down to bare metal cleaned up any little holes and then hit it with some rustoleum white primer



and here is what the motor looks like now

well the second stage of doing the interior



going to order my rug this week so i can get all of it in the car next week or so..lol but this is where i am at now

now i am trying to figure out what i can do to get all the pink and orange and purple off with out sanding the car so some rubbing compound got me this so far





so if you guys can give me some pointers i would love it! thanks a lot !

thanks man i am working on my deck for the rest of this weekend and most of the week. i am hoping to have the wiring harness inside this week so i can label everything and go from there. but we shall see

Looks like your kitchen table is being put to some good use. Love the pictures of the progress. Have you had anymore luck getting the pink paint off. It looked like you had found a method that worked, but was a lot of work.

What about a stripping chemical? I've seen it in the Eastwood catalog, airline stripper or aviation stripper...something like that. Ever heard of it?
