Default TRW Brake Pads now availble

As some of you may know I'm the Quality Manager for TRW Automotive service division for North America for last 10 years and before that was working for Kelsey-Hayes before we merged with TRW in 1997 and experienced in ABS and foundation braking and what I don't know, I know someone that does.

Our team here in Service have been working toward getting back into the aftermarket after about 20 year absence, and our first offering is a premium brake pad (they include, pads, hardware when required, grease and instructions) for most cars. We have only validated back to 1971 but working on going back further, and we all know 68-72 Chevelle pads are the same. Here is a example of our part number TPM0052 which will fit the 68-72 Chevelle. If you are looking for your older car let me know and I'll see if I can find what brake pad kit you need, anything newer that 1971 should be in the Amazon system or you can contact me and I'll tell you what part number you need.

As of this time we are only offering our pads through Amazon, so if you are looking for pads for your Chevelle or your daily driver and have the time to wait for shipping please go to Amazon link through Chevelle forums (so Grumpys get a little bit from Amazon to help to run this website).

We are in the process of launching our Chassis line (tie rods, ball joints, etc) of products early next year with 2600 part numbers and 2600 + more in the middle of the 2013 and more at the end of the 2013.

Any questions or feedback please let me know. Richard.Beckman@TRW.COM or 248.863.2407 Thanks,

Flash, Unfortually not all the pads we make are made in US anymore, some are made in Mexico and Spain and some in India. You won't find many suppliers with friction made in US anymore...for what ever reason. But I agree with you 100% that if I can find made in USA I try to buy.
