Default Another new guy

Hey everybody my name is Barry I am from South Jersey and I work as an electrician
Anyway I will be getting very soon my fathers 1964 chevelle convertible The car has a 6 cyl engine which is not original
I would like to make some changes to the chevelle new tubular suspension disk brakes all around and of course new drivetrain hopefully zz3 350 crate motor with a turbo 350 or 700R4 tranny and a 12 bolt react 373 gears
The body is all original and in very good shape except for some minor rust around wheel wells
Anybody advice and input would be greatly apriciated in the build
I will be making many more posts in specific forums here
Thanks for the help in advance

Glad to hear you are keeping it in the family. Also welcome. My advise build it the way you want it and enjoy it.

Welcome, sounds like a nice car. A convertible, what's not to like.

Welcome Barry,
Gotta' like those '64's! They drive so nice. Like your parents, I bought one new in '64 but wasn't smart enough to keep it. Now I'm on my 3rd. one.
