69 chevelle with hood and trunk stripes?

Did any 69 chevelles come with factory stripes on the trunk and hood? trying to figure out something that a few of us chevelle guys are fighting over. if it did come with those stripes what was the code on the build sheet?

None from the factory. Lots of Dealer painted ones though.

None came with them but some of us do like them on 68 and 69 Chevelles ,our old 68 had them.

Yeah, that's the way I like '68-69s...w/bandaids on '70-72 only.
I don't even like the side panel stripes of a '67...just my personal opinion.

I'm with you Bill... I about barf every time I see a 68' - 69' with 70'-72' stripes. IMHO, it takes away from the sexy body lines of a 68' - 69'.

I agree too. I like the body lines of the '68 & '69, just leave it simple it looks so much better.

the fight was that 69 cars came from the factory with the stripes on the top but some was fighting. i have read that some dealers did it to sell them off when the 70 was starting to show up
