Default Making progress

Weather has been around 70 today worked on the front of the car today and got the headlight buckets and grill installed. Plan to get most of the front completed tomorrow. Friend stop by and gave me this poster also. He had it framed for my garage.

Can't wait for the weather to get a little better here. Your car looks great Ray, have anymore pics to share?

A few more pictures, looking more like a car everyday. Car came with a chrome top plate and hood hinge. Also one question , the filler panel under the grill. Does that get installed when the inner fenders are installed?

Damn Ray that is one nice looking car. My car had a chrome top plate and chrome top alt bracket. What about that hood latch? Looks like chrome powder coating. It looks nice but doesn't really go with the all original theme.

The valance/filler needs to go on before the front bumper. Looks like you don't have much left to do. Rad, top plate, filler panel, bumper, fender braces and inner fenders. That's what I can see, what else do you have to do?

Can't answer your question since I only know bits about our 72, which the filler is part of the grill, but again it sure looks sweet !

I have a backup top plate and plan to sent my extra hood latch to Willie to get redone. I also not sure about the chrome at this point also. I need to finish the wiring and all the interior needs to go in. I plan to order it this week.
