I wish you the same John. I'm sure it's hard to celebrate at a time like this.

Today was actually a pretty good Birthday depending on how you see things .Im on call at work this week and had to be back at work tonight at 8 PM for a small flooring job a contractor was doing .I came home and had an early supper and drove back to campus to ride a few laps on my Bike ,I was hoping to ride 10 good laps around our biggest parking lots ,probably a 1/4 mile per lap ,maybe more .I was in the hardest gear and had made 4 laps and told some students I was trying for 10 .They cheered at every lap and I actually made 11 full laps .I was tired but happy to reach a small goal .I was still way early for my flooring guy so I went over to the dining hall where he was to work ad decided to read a while. When I got near the front door several students told me they were praying for me and if I needed anything to just let them know .I got inside and even more students told me the same thing .One young lady came up with tears in her eyes and hugged me and said she had been praying for me ever since she heard about Joan and told me how much all the kids loved me .So it was a pretty good Birthday .
