Default Modern day seat belts in a chevelle?

has anyone taken a seat belt system from one of the modern day cars and used them in a chevelle? My wife asked one thing of me with the chevelle. and that is to have good safe seat belts. My uncle put in a set in his camaro but i was wondering if something like a modern f body or something will fit in our chevelles
anyone know of any?

You can buy new 3 point belts made for the Chevelle. Don't remember who makes them but a google search should turn up something.

I put them in mine about 3 years ago because my wife said the same thing. I'll have to look up the receipt to find who I got them for and if I remember correctly they were about $350.

yeah i know about those. I was just wondering if anyone has taken a modern day car and used those belts instead of spending 700 bucks on just seat belts i know safety has no price but i have to redo all of my interior and i just dont think that $700 is the amount i want to spend on just seat belts when i need to get a back seat, redo my front seats, arm rest, center console, dash pad, and more.

It might be time to check out your local junk yard and see if you can find something that will work .The yards here are not very good for seat belts as it seems they are almost always cut although I do have a nice set I pulled from a Monte Carlo ,same as Chevelle .
