Not that I care about matching numbers for ths 68, but I decided to look. Sure enough, they do not match. However, it is a 68 307 2bbl - out of a B body. (Similar scenario with my 69) What are the odds?!

Looking over the trim tag, 4th week of May build date, late production car. YY exterior paint - Butternut Yellow, 754 interior trim - Medium Gold imitation leather.

Mine had the numbers matching 307 2 bbl and trans when I got it. I took them out and it hasn't had a engine since. Motor laid in the grass until who knows where it went. Take that 307 LOL. I do still have the powerglide.

I do know my cars history and colors. Blue hardtop white and black interior. Power steering and air.

Finally got the Master Cylinder rebuilt and installed yesterday. Bled the brakes and drove out to a car show. Now may be the time to think about selling it. I just don't drive it much anymore. I had to laugh yesterday when a 2018 Dodge won best muscle car. There was a lot of a classic muscle cars there nicer them mine. I don't expect to win, just went to have some car time.

My car is sitting in the garage waiting for the nice weather again.
Not to many folks do car shows in this heat and humidity.
Good thing is that some shows are requiring 1990 and earlier.
If i wanted to look at brand new vettes id be at the chevy dealer.

Truth! A few friends and I are toying with the idea of a cruise in that imposes a 1981 cut off. We're tired of mopar weiner row - full of new challengers, mustang row - full of late models, Camaro and Corvette row - full of, you guessed it... more late models.

I can't help myself and usually yell, "Look! A used car lot." They love it.

I do not think I am going to risk trying to paint it in this humidity. I have the driver's door ready to go back on as of today. Maybe Friday I will hang it and start on the passenger door. After that, i am going to push it aside and wait for more favorable weather.

I have a ton of welding to do on the vw and his 72 Malibu in the meantime.

Removed some of the old rubber off the rear tires. Put down about 100' of rubber starting at my neighbor Darrel's house. That's about it. At least it was easy, not much effort at all.
