Default Well....

Seems like we've been running in circles for a month or more. Henry and Heather are both working outside the home. Guess who gets to get the kids on the bus in the morning and off in the afternoon? Usually have to be at their house by 7AM, then back at around 4PM. Dr.'s appointments, me then Lynda, then me, then Lynda. Well more Lynda than me. She went today to see the foot Dr. She had surgery on her foot awhile ago and one of the screws backed out. Now she has to have surgery on it again to put the screw back in. I'm going to make sure he uses Loctite Red on it this time.

Our Dr wanted me to see a cardio doc, didn't like the EKG he took. Cardio doc took one and said he didn't see anything to worry about. Asked a lot of questions then said sounds like you don't need to be here but we'll do a stress test to be sure. Had the stress test. Goal was to get my heart rate up to 131 on the treadmill. Only managed 121 but my heart rate is typically lower than average, less than 60 when at rest. Called brady cardia.

Our daughter has been looking at condos. We looked at one a few weeks she liked. They accepted her offer and we went for a home inspection last weekend. No major issues, just a few minor ones. Whoever added outlets in the basement didn't know much about electrical wiring. 3 14g wires stuffed into 1 20 amp breaker. Wires strung under the joists instead of through them. Guess I'll get to fix that for her. Along with the drains under the kitchen sink. Like I said just minor stuff.

We did go to a Bob Seger concert in Saginaw on Thursday. Good concert, small arena, less than 8,000 people. So we weren't a half mile away from him. At 73 he's still pretty good. Of course we didn't get home until midnight, been up since 6 and had to get up at 6 the next day.

So that's been our excitement for the last month or 2.

Good to hear your goings on. This is a quiet site since nancy left. But good people. My excitement is I found a unicorn. A mercruiser factory switch pitch prop for my boat. Very rare performance part.

15 pitch taking off then shifts to 21 pitch. Should wake the ol 3 liter right up.

Glad all is well. I agree it's really quiet on here, but with all the face book chevelle sites now it doesn't surprise me. I hang on Chevelle Owners most of the time.

I still check in regularly but not much to report from my end . Still not interested in the Chevelle ,did take the El Camino on Power Tour this year but only cause my truck was not up for it . I play mostly with old Chevy Trucks now ,have quite a few to play with.

I used some composite props on ours. Similar, they flatten out to a lower pitch when taking off the flex back to a higher pitch when up on plan. Worked pretty good. We had our boat on Lake Huron, near the top of the thumb. Lot of rocky points jutting out. Cheaper to buy a new composite than repair a metal one. Plus the change in pitch was nice.

It has been quiet here. This time of year with the holidays is slow. People have a lot of things to do. Plus the Chevelle is tucked in the garage until spring. Don't think too much about it.

No Chevelle here anymore but I am deep into an LS 5.3L swap project for my '67 Camaro.
Picked up the heads from the machine shop yesterday...new FI gas tank delivers today via FedEx.
