Sounds good Hank. For a nominal fee, I can arrange for a reserved parking space for your rig. Overnight camping is available for a small upcharge. Of course, power and water will be additional. Shall I contact our reservations dept for a confirmation?

Awesome Tony, what are check-in and check-out times? Do you have cable TV? How about sites with full hookups, 50 amp 240v, water and sewer? The Wifi in most parks sucks, how is the wifi there? I assume all the land your clearing is for the gun range, will that be open when I arrive? Is it free for guests or is there an additional charge?

First I must apologize for the slow response to a potential "guest" Mr. Hank, as I had to shoot over to a garage sale this morning. (Scored some neat old American made tools and misc shit!) I have spoken to our campsite director about your concerns. Allow me to share the information from the director.

Check-in times will vary, although I'm sure you understand that a check-in before 6 pm on any given day will constitute a full days rental. Also I was informed that we can no longer accept AARP discount coupons for a daily reduction in fees.

Sorry that we do not have cable TV, as we are some distance from the nearest servers lines. We do offer, for a small fee of course, a satellite option. Meaning that on a clear night, you should be able to see a satellite at about 180 degrees North by 242 degrees West.

Full hook-ups, with all inclusive amenities, are available. There again, I'm sure you will understand about the "upcharges" for this service. We can accommodate your request for this upcharge as soon as we have your credit card information finalized.

WIFI is available also, with standard rates to be determined after consultation with the "entertainment director". The fee is a very reasonable 100$ per hour of usage.

Yes, you are correct in your assumption that the gun range will be open to guests at most times during your stay. The only policy that we demand that you adhere to is the "no guest ammunition allowed". You may purchase nearly any caliber of ammo you wish from our well stocked supply depot. The price of ammo will be slightly more than the local shooting supply stores ask, as I'm sure that you understand we have to make a small profit to keep the operation successful. We can offer you a .22 caliber long rifle bullet for 2.74 cents per round, all the way up to a .223 or .556 for 15.00 per round.

If you have any other concerns or questions, feel free to ask.

PS. There is alcohol provided to all guests free of charge.

I'm not real happy about all the upcharges. Was about to say forget it, not interested. Then I read your PS at the bottom, so I'm in!

I am green with envy Tony. I long for the day that I have enough land for my own personal gun range and lots of room for my dogs to run around.

Not much new to report here either. I was sick for about three weeks, I finally seem to be over it. I have basically been going to work every day, not much else.

Being sick for three weeks would be a real pain in the ass I imagine. Was it the flu?

I will be down here until the end of March. If you ever get the urge to come up for a visit, you are more than welcome.

Tony, let me know when the range is done. I'll go throw some lead with you. If the timing is right, might have my father's 67' C10 done. That would be a great road trip to stretch it's legs.

Can you afford his ammo prices?

No, but I don't drink. So I will bring him some ammo to use.

Hell, I don't know when I'll have a real "range". I just step out the back door of the shop, aim at my "Obama target", and fire away! You can do the same. Come on up anytime. I'll try and send you a PM with my number.

I like ammo.

Careful Hank, I heard that the price of ammo is going to have a major price jump in a month or so.
