My dad had a 79 Monte Carlo then got an 81 Malibu Classic. If memory serves me right, the interiors were the same.Dash for sure.

What is the correct paint to dress up the dash of a 72 SS, and the best way to lay down the silver outline.

Please can anyone tell me if 70-72 Chevelle rear seats will fit a 69? I'm having trouble locating info on this? I only see where I can buy 70-72 rear seat spring framing in my opgi catalog. But I've got someone with a prestige back seat from a 71 I can get if it will fit my 69.

I don't think so. Aren't the side panels different ? But I am not 100% positive on this.

The seat is wider on '68-'69's than on '70-'72's. On '70-'72's the seat is narrower because of the side armrests being moulded into one piece that goes all the way down to the car's floor, and the seat backs have some kind of "spacer" on each side to make them the same width as the seat. By comparison, the seats on '68-'69's go all the way to the "door panel" (which is more flat) with a smaller armrest which is screwed through the panel, in the same manner as the armrests on the front doors.
