Default trany nightmare

Been working on body...lots of sanding etc.
Today i tried to back the car outa the garage to do more body work
I have no reverse...no nuetral.....its stuck in drive.
The linkage is correct and no matter where i put the shifter the car goes
forwards.
This is a newly rebuilt trans with all the good stuff in it
redline clutches...colene steels you name it its in there.
Yesterday it was fine.....today WTF.

Is the fluid burnt? Sounds like it overheated and the clutches are welded together if your linkage is all fine.
