Ya, yesterday was miserable. We went out early in the morning hoping to get some errands done before the rain turned to snow. No such luck, had almost white out conditions from time to time. Not very warm today but at least the sun is out.

60 mph winds yesterday. 27 hours no power. Trees down everywhere, with all this rain the ground is saturated and did take much for the trees to go down with leaves on them. I have about 100 fir branches in my back yard and a mess in the street. Otherwise we faired better then most I keep my trees trimmed so no loss of trees. The Portland Swap meet is this weekend and I heard tents and awning went everywhere.

Glad to hear that you didn't have any damage Ray.

Was nice here today. It was in the mid 60's I think. But nice enough to be outside.

Went to an outdoor swap meet yesterday. It was a little on the cool side, but warmed up the rest of the day. Still too wet and muddy out back to get anything done.

Ray, do you run a generator when the power goes down?

Yesterday was a nice day. Spent the afternoon picking up branches. Was going to wait until we got them all up before setting them on fire but when the pile got to be 4' high and ~6' across it was time to light it up. We still have a couple of big areas to clean up, maybe today. We got lucky though, no trees or big branches down, just a bunch of mostly smaller stuff.

I came back to Michigan too early. Those are perfect temps where you are. It's in the low thirties here now. I won't make the same mistake next year. Hope you can make it up to my place next year.

Me too. I look forward to throwing some lead with you.

The time frame isn't working out this year, my folks want to sell their place and move. I have been trying to help work on their house and finish up some projects. But, none of it is getting done fast enough.
