Default frame ?

I'm in need of a frame for my 69 convertible. What are my options? Does anyone have any leads to where I can find one thanks

You can get these frames from any "A" body(cutlass, skylark,,etc.) Convertable frames follow the same suit. 68 to 72 have suttle diffences if you had one of those years.

So I can't use a 68 or 70-72 frame. Well that just made the search harder great!

I just did some more checking and a 68-72 frame are the same dimensions. There are slight differences in the frames but it looks like they will work from what I have been told. I just had a friend put a 70 frame under his 2 door 69 coupe. A 1968 frame has an extra metal V shaped guard under the front crossmember.

I have found a frame that has been converted to a convertible frame. Should I stay away or will it be OK?

Look it over good, make sure it is still nice and square. Check out the integrity of the welds.

If you want a nice hard top frame to convert yourself, I have just recently acquired one as of today.
