Default C5 Disc Brake Spindles?

I'm wanting to do a front disc brake swap and I ran across these the other day. The spindles are made by CPP and use the C5 hub assembly and you can use the regular corvette brakes or use the Z06 brakes. I like them because of the bigger brakes, having a sealed bearing, not have to worry about adjusting them and they will last longer. What are your guys thoughts? Has anyone here ran those or know anyone that has? Here are a couple of links to check em out

Ive had good luck with cpp parts.
My concern would be if the kit moves the wheels outwards
and will 15in rims still fit

It says that doesn't move the wheels out but it is a tall spindle, which I don't know how it wouldn't. I have 17" wheels on the front so I don't think there will be a clearance problem between the wheels and brakes. I've just heard mixed reviews on some of the CPP parts, most of it has been fitment and not quality.

Well I ordered the C5 spindle set up today. They were actually having a 5% sale today so I figured it'd be just as good of time as any to get it. Hopefully it'll be in next week and I'll let ya know how it turns out.

I never noticed that until you said something about it, but I finally got mine after almost 3 weeks and it has a brake bleed on the top and bottom of the caliper, maybe cause it twin piston? I dunno... Haven't bleed them yet, but I figured I'd put the pictures in case someone searches the forum for this set up. They whole kit comes pre assembled, so it's pretty much just a simple spindle swap, but the spindles I received already had some surface rust on them so I took them apart and cleaned them up and painted them. Here are a few pics from where I started to finishing up.

The spindles out of the box.

Little bit of rust so I went ahead and took care of it.

Looks good. Have you driven it to see how it affected handling?
