Default Best front clip for a 64 Chevelle

Has anybody done a front clip replacement to include the engine and transmission from a late model car to the 64 ? And how about an independent rear suspension install ? Thanks.

I think you would be better doing a Art Morrison frame if you are going to do that kind of mod.

Default Best front clip for 64.

Checked out the Art Morrison frames, really nice but, probably really expensive. Thanks for the info.

Jim Meyer Racing also builds nice frames to your specs as well as the Roadster Shop among others but all are high $$$$ .

You can get your car to handle very well by replacing the front a arms, sway bar and switching to adjustable coil overs. I've seen many in the auto cross with these setups.

I did swap my engine and trans out to an LS1 / T56 setup. It's pretty easy to do in our A body cars.
