Default So who is your classic car insurance carrier ?

So this came up in a different thread and I thought maybe I would ask who do you use for your classic car insurance carrier ?

You don't have to answer if you don't want to. But sometimes input from other people who have used an insurance company may help out someone who is shopping around for the best deal.

What are some of the pros and cons with your carrier ?
Why did you choose them ?

Grundy beat the Hagerty deal I had by $100.00 less and upped my coverage from $20,000.00 to $25,000.00.

Hagerty here, does Grundy have someone who will find NOS parts for your car if it gets wrecked?

Hagerty for 15 years, a friend of mine owns a restoration shop and he says dealing with Hagerty is good as they understand what it takes to fix these cars and not trying to nickel and dime the car back together and they help in finding parts for him.

I know I am ahead of schedule here. I already talked to my insurance girl. 300 a year for the insured cost of 25 grand. I just going with my normal car insurance I had for years. I have had a real good relationship with them.

I was with Hagerty for a while but recently switched to American Modern. I saved a good bit of money compared to Hagerty while bumping up my guaranteed value on both cars at the same time. I have a shop owner who has his personal collection of 25+ insured with them so I know his experience as well as the reviews I found online which all seemed good (or as good as anyone who is posting a review about an insurance company is going to be.)
