Burgers and Beer
That's what's going on for me today. Anyone else care for the simple things? I may have some Grey Poupon on the burger just to class things up a little.

Sounds good to me Gary. Ever put a fried egg on a burger?

That's the Irish way.
Order a burger with the "works" in a pub in Ireland and it'll have a hard fried egg on top.

Never had an egg on a burger. On a toasted bagel, slice of cheese, couple strips of bacon, but not on a burger. We grilled burgers a few days ago, pork chops last night, couple of dogs for lunch today. Hot dogs may be junk but they sure taste good grilled. Especially Dearborn Sausage hot dogs, the kind that snap when you bite through the casing.

I love some dogs too, Hank. That "pop" you described is something very sought-after. Only a dog or sausage with a natural casing will do it, and I can't find them around here. When any of my family from up there by the great lakes visit, I have them brought down so I can keep a stash in my freezer.

Jake, make sure they get Dearborn Sausage Co hot dogs. They make the best spiral ham, sausage, hot dogs, etc. Kowalski use to make the best kielbasa but they got too big and lost their way. There's a lot of big names out there but Dearborn Sausage beats them hands down. We use to buy Honey-Baked hams until we tried a Dearborn Sausage spiral cut ham. Ok, you can't buy their stuff but you MI guys should try it if you haven't already
