drum brake install
Ok so i thought i was done with mine and i was going to install the drums today but then he told me o man you put the shoes on backwards !!!
i took them off and put them back on the same way! so i guess its wrong or is it? is the bigger padded shoe on right or do i need to flip them? The way i got the car the longer ones are in the front and the shorter ones are in the rear. did i do it backwards?

Backwards.
Shoe with the longer lining always goes on the rear. With self energizing drum brakes, the shoe with the greater surface area has to overcome the inertia of the weight of the car trying to continue moving forward.

Yep large shoe in back. When I do brakes I only take one side off at a time so I can always go look at the other side or have a picture handy on how it should look before I start.
