Frame off project continues. Took out all the 1947 floors and now down to the original sub floor. Now its time to level and build the floor over the concrete floor over to the front door. Looks different now that all the inside walls are down and opened up. French doors are in, can now heat a room to sleep in. Gas line gets installed in about 2 weeks. Hot shower will be nice.

Wife cleaning the floor

Looking toward the kitchen and laundry room, with the wall now gone.

Front room area, need to extend the floors toward the front door. Old wood floor is where the house used to end.

Trying my hand at building stairs. Extended the floors and if goes well, might just be ready for sheet rock by June. Only taken 6 years to get to this point. But Im not in debt, paying as I go.

I will hang the drywall, I can tape as well, but I might have a guy come in and do the taping and texture on the ceiling to speed it up at that point.

Wife decided you doesn't like a small bump in the wall behind the front door where the electrical panel is located on the garage side, so I have to build the wall all the way down past the stairs now. It will make the wall about 8" thick, so I get to tear out all the stairs now and rebuild them in the new location. Really?????????? I framed them all in last weekend and put temporary stair treads on them.

Managed to flood the laundry room today after a connection failed hooking up the tankless hot water heater.

Any experts out there on wire a house for cable and internet. Never done it before, or point me in the right direction maybe a youtube video or book.
