Default Tie Rod End Issues

I installed the new drop spindles, tall ball joints and brakes on the front end of the '72 today. The only issue I had was with the outer tie rod ends. The diameter is too small so they stick through too far and don't tighten up. I just got a set of Moog's from Advance. Is there anything special about them or did they get me the wrong part? The inners are fine. They were already closed tonight when I finished so I will talk to them tomorrow. Other than that the car looks great sitting 2" closer to the ground. Need to get the new master cylinder and vacuum booster installed and then I'll be good to go.

I would be taking a Micrometer to the spindle and comparing them to the stock part. They are the new part and fly in the ointment. I would suspect them first.
Maybe they need that companies tie rod ends.
