Default So...What cool stuff did you get for Christmas ?

So...What kind of cool stuff did you get for Christmas ?

David and I didn't really want to spend a lot on each other but he did get me the coolest digital thermometer for my smoker. I can stick the probe into the meat, set the temperature, and take the remote into the house, and when the meat reaches that temp the timer will go off. Pretty cool !!!

The other cool gift I got was from my Secret Santa. It is a sketch of my Chevelle which is being done by an art student in Australia. This guy has sent me some preliminary sketches and I can't wait for the final sketch. Thank you so much Secret Santa.

Gift cards to Cabellas to put towards a biometric Gun Vault so I can keep my "carry" handguns loaded and quickly accessible for me, yet inaccessible to the kiddos.

Kids got a battery powered ride-on Corvette "C5R" ALMS car.

I will tell you that when grumpy opened his secret Santa gift on Christmas. He sat there and played with the "grumpy" elf. We all cracked up with it's sayings. It was great. The RC Chevelle is really cool too. I am pretty sure it is a 70SS, black (perfect color). Years ago grumpy used to race RC dragsters and we have looked for a model of a Chevelle, but never found one like this. Thanks, from me, Secret Santa.

Thumbs up

I got to spend Xmas with my wife, my two kids (and their spouses) and my 5 grand kids.
Enjoyed every minute of it...even though it did snow.

Now comes party time...heading to Vegas on Thursday!!
