One heck of a weekend
Ever have one of those weekends? Took a extended weekend and it started with the daughters 5 month old puppy breaking his leg when he tried to jump up and say hello to me. 5k and the puppy is recovering. Ouch!!! Then the granddaughter closes the car door on her toes at our house also. Luckily no broken toes, but a trip to emergency. Then while putting sheet rock screws in at the beach house I manage to hit a live wire and burn up serveral wires and cause a small fire in the attic. Luckly was able to rip down some sheet rock and get it out. Now I'm replacing damaged wiring that I destroyed. I don't need anymore excitement this week.

Damn. Sounds like you should have stayed in bed! Wonder why the circuit breaker didn't kill the power to the wire? That is scary. Could have been much worse! Hope the pup is going to be OK. Is that 5 thousand dollars?

5 THOUSAND!!!!! Insane. Sounds a little greedy to me. Might have been cheaper at the Humane Society.

Okay, I've had some weekends but you take the cake on this. Hopefully the rest of your week is better. I agree, how come no breaker tripped if you shorted the hot and neutral together. Isn't that what they're for?
