Default Issues with staying logged in.

A lot of times I will be in as a guest and then I'll see a thread I would like to reply to so I log in, but when I use the back button it logs me out; it doesn't always happen but it happens enough to be an issue sometimes. Is there a way to fix this, or do I have to always login to the main page first? I would think there is a fix for this like an option to stay logged in but I don't see it. It could be a security on my pc but I thought I would ask.

Hi Dave, Yes I am; I don't have a problem as long as I start at the main page but If I login at lets say "Off Topic" about half of the time it will lose me after two, or three back clicks. It could be something on my end, but I thought I would check to see if anyone else if have an issue. It doesn't always happen just sometimes. I'm wondering if my token is being deleted by my system. Thank you for the help.

I log in and check remember me. I don't have to log in even after rebooting my pc. There have been a couple, 2 or 3 times over the last several months where I had to log in again.

Thanks Hank; thats what I thought. It must be something with the secure network I'm on; the only thing that stays is hotmail.

I wonder if its operating system dependent. I have tried it with both Firefox and an older version of IE but cannot get it to replicate your problem. Is anyone else having this issue ?

Is it a work pc or one with a lot of security? It may be removing the cookies at the end of the sessions.

I figure it's because it is a work pc like you said hank. I don't see and bat scripts running but it could be in the background. I just figured it couldn't hurt to ask. The suprising thing is hotmail always knows who I am. Thanks everyone.
